Izzy's new love...

Post by Mad Chick »

Sadly Izzy has had to say goodbye to her share horse, Rupert. His cushings has become progressively worse and his temper with it so he has now been retired and is living his days out munching grass and mugging visitors for carrots. Izzy still regularly wanders up to see him and give him a cuddle but it left her without a horse to ride...

So after much searching, we found Solomon. He's a 17hh Irish sport horse, 5 years old so still a bit of growing to do. He has the sweetest temperament, just SO gentle and well behaved. Izzy has entered her first competition on him (and got disqualified for not pulling him up quick enough and allowing him to jump the fence OUT of the arena {rofwl} )

What a beauty! Sad to hear about Rupert but it looks like a worthy replacement has been found in Solomon! Love the story about the competition, it's great to have stories like that to look back on & giggle! {hug}

What a handsome boy and lucky girl Izzy for being his new owner. Shame about Rupert, but he is still having his cuddles and living a good life.
I hope she goes on to do very well in her competitions )t'
