Wheels are still in motion. The NAWT make people come for 3 weeks before they go.
It is a nuisance as they need to be out of there.
But better they change their mind before, rather than bring him back.
But still everything crossed

Yay,
Sammy is off to his new home tomorrow morning.
I hope he is a good boy and they give him lots of patience and understanding as well as love.
I think someone told him he wasn't ever seeing me again after today. Because he licked my face 3 times today. He has never done that before.

I'm so glad to hear that he has at last found a new home and do hope that he settles in quickly.
You will miss him Wendy and maybe he did sense that he was saying goodbye to you when he gave you kisses. I hope his new owners let the kennels know how he is getting on so that you will feel relaxed about him. I expect he will be on your mind for a while.
Such a good job done by you. {hug}

He lives in the same area as I do. They have my number so they can ring me, if they need help.
I hope I do get to know how he is getting on.
Yes I will miss him. But my work with him is now done.............. and now onto Missy.

Sending good wishes to Sammy's new family, to Sammy, and to yourself, Wendy, for doing a fantastic job with him.
