Well, it certainly sounds as if she is feeling much better in herself, which is good news {hug}

Shame she is so scared of the vets, but I guess its not surprising really. Very upsetting for you to see her like that, but hopefully after the stitches are out, she wont have to visit them for a while {hug}

Thats just what I thought, Mo when I picked her up but she has coped really well.

It always amazes me how animals physically get over operations so quickly, wish I could be like them. I suppose they dont have the 'thinking' power that us humans have and that must help.

Not good news about Bella, unfortunately.

We took her back to have most of her stitches out last night, she has 7 to be taken out next Tues. The biopsies showed that there is cancer in her left side, it is a mast tumour and has been scored at and I quote, 'the mitotic index is way in excess of 10'.

The prognosis is terrible, I feel totally numb and cannot even cry. They have said she could poss be here with us for anything from 2 months upwards although obviously they cannot say catagorically. There are medications she can have and we are having the lumps tested again to see if the medication would be suitable in her case, but the side effects are not very good unfortunately that I have researched.
