HelloHelloSorry I haven't been around with updates on Valentina and Sammy.
But I am afraid I was badly bitten on the 11th. Not by either of my little charges. But a dog that was walking in the opposite direction to me at the Trust. I had to have plastic surgery at the royal free on the 12th. I have either seen the plastic surgeon or my practice nurse every other day since. I haven't been able to drive and it was in a sling most of the time. I went back the following day and met Valentina a in a side room for an hour and have done so ever since. I was doing so well with her I didn't want to let her down. Sadly I haven't seen Sammy, as he is very bouncy and I couldn't risk him jumping up. But yesterday I had the stitches removed, all 15 of them. I have to see the practice nurse tomorrow to be dressed again and then, all being well, I can remove the dressing on Wednesday. So today I walked the lovely Valentina again and she was a really happy bunny, bless her. Sadly the dog in question was PTS the next day. It makes me sad, but he was obviously a danger. http://www.busheyk9.co.uk
