Any further progress with George and Hope?

After talking to a friend that also left Turkey to live in Bulgaria I was looking through some of the photos of the dogs we looked after in the Belediye Kennels in Turkey when we volunteered there, you never knew what would happen to the dogs once released or when re-homed hence always interested in your charges and how they get on.

Hi Trev.
Hope is a great deal calmer, even the staff are mentioning it. Thank goodness. But no
new home yet.

George is on reserve. They came and saw him on Saturday and have been everyday since. They will be coming daily for the next week and hopefully take him after a home visit.
He really is coming on. I have spent an hour a day, since Thursday before last with him. The screaming has stopped and he walks nicely. He has a good watch me, still work in progress really. But they were happy to take him on.
Apparently she is a vet and has had Cockers before. She works in Rural Wales in a Large animal surgery. So he won't see that many dogs.
All sounding good, so please everyone >fi< and pray a lot.

The people who are interested in George sound just right for him. I do hope he has a home with them and enjoys rural Wales. A great place for dogs )t'

Fingers crossed for George and maybe Hope will be lucky in finding a new home.

Keep us informed as it is always good to hear of a happy ending to show it is not all doom and gloom out there in the dog rescue/re-homing world.

Great news, Wendy! I'll keep my fingers crossed for him. Every dog should have a nice warm fire at this time of year.
