How are you Wendy, i hope you are feeling better in yourself and how is Arthur doing, on the mend i hope.
Please don't feel bad from what i have read from your posts the dogs that you have cared for could not have asked for a more loving person to look after them.
Thinking of you {hug}

Aw Wendy if there were more people in this world like you it would be like heaven on earth, {hug}
You have a heart of gold filled with so much love and compasion for others be it human or animal .

It's easy to see why you feel as you do your world has come crashing down around you, but when you are sending thoughts and freely giving your self to others please remember that you are important too.

Wrap yourself even tighter in your beloveds love it is as strong today as ever Spencer will never let you be alone {hug}

Love and Healing thoughts Lindaxx

This was him yesterday. Enjoying the winter sunshine.
He has gone back to having a plaster cast on, as the injury is on his Achilles tendon, it moved about in the ordinary bandage they tried.
It will be another 4 weeks at least before he is mine for good.
But Sally who is fostering him has a few days holiday end of October. So if he is still with her. He will come to me to foster when she goes away

Wendy - just read your post. I felt pretty much the same in 1988 and 1989. My Father and husband died within sixteen months of each other, and after my husband's death, I also lost my close friend. A difficult time for you, but I would trust you with any of the dogs I have owned. Take care.

Hope all goes well for Arthur - what a lovely lad. Hoping you get him home with you soon and you can spoil him and give him all the love he deserves.

As you can see Arthur is now home with me.
Unfortunately one of the fosterers 6 resident dogs took a dislike to him and there was a dust up. Which Arthur [bad foot and all] had the upper hand.
So she wanted him out. I have had him since 12th October. He is still going to have the dressing changed twice a week. But he is doing so much better.
I have a calm household and no dogs for him to play and go silly with, Megan doesn't do play. So his leg has been able to heal better.
He had awful pressure sores. But now they have all gone, so all is positive. But we still have a way to go
