Oh June, what a worry for you, even worded having both of them poorly {cry} I hope Beau picks up soon, and that Misty feels better when the tooth has gone. {hug&kiss}

Both doing OK Gwen. Beau is on 3 different antibiotics and on a light diet. He was actually excited to go for a short walk this morning. Since having her split tooth out Mistie is eating better than she has for weeks. Before she was just licking her food but now eating it. She must have been in consideral pain. Her not eating was why I took her to the vet 5 weeks ago.When the vet found the large tumour she said to concentrate on her pain relief for that and not to worry about the tooth. I insisted the tooth come out. If she has only a few months ahead of her I didn't want her to keep losing weight because of toothache. My little cat is now very contented.

Beau is coming along well but Mistie back to hardly eating. She has her follow up visit today (from tooth extraction) so see how things are. The day after the tooth came out I was so pleased with how much she was enjoying small amounts of different food. Yesterday nothing but may have been the heat as she has eaten a little this morning. With her it is just time but she still is contented. The problem is that if she doesn't eat enough it may affect other organs. At this moment all OK but as happens she will probably go down all of a sudden.

I will keep everything crossed for the vet visit today. As you say it may have just been the heat.

Must say that although she isn't eating hardly at all, she is very alert. She has been locked in our home for an hour as in the heat she disappears in the bushes in the field. She is trying all ways to find a way out. Nothing lethargic about her now.
