F.A.O anyone interested in

Post by Gwenoakes »

feeding raw to their dog/cat or prefer to use more natural remedies across the board.

Going on from the holistic vet we use in Leeds that I have written about with Teddy, I have some links if anyone is interested.

Raw Feeding Veterinary Society (RFVS) - www.rfvs.info - www.rawpetmedics.com and the last one - www.thechoppingboard.com

Like I have said before they do a video link each Thurs evening through FB, last week it was about chickens and this week it was about raw feeding. Clare and I find it extremely interesting and informative and it is at the end of the day free information for anyone who wants to ask a question.

I would be interested in any comments anyone may have.

We feed raw, Wendy, haven't always done, but Clare did a lot of research and decided it was the best way to go.
It certainly looks like people have looked, I just hope they have gone onto the websites I have put up. There seems to be some myth that feeding raw is not good...…….

A myth put about by the kibble makers.
What can be more natural, than a balanced, healthy diet.
Without any preservatives. Which kibble is full of !

I am guilty of feeding kibble, I know that a lot of sheltie owners feed raw, and I know the arguments for feeding raw.

Do you feed kibble because it is easier/cheaper, Spreckly?
Not trying to get at you, but was just wondering as it is always good to hear both sides of any story.
