Whoops

Post by wendy »

We took Josie to Battersea today to see the vet. As Spencer works there we get the dog treated free.
Came home with anti-biotics and a Shepherd puppy!!
While I wasn't looking, they hijacked Spencer and put him in his arms.
When I get a decent photo, I will post.
So we have a little Dave. Because Dave is a mates name and that is what he is going to be. Josie best mate.

Well he is a dear little soul and only 3 wee's in the house, but on the paper. So he is doing OK.
Looking at him I would say he wasn't a full GSD maybe 75%, but what the heck he needed a home and the rescue's are stuffed to the gunnells. He was in the RSPCA since 18th December and then they sent him to Battersea on the 24th. So he has already been in rescue for about 12 days. He can't be more than 7/8 weeks!
Josie thinks she has gone to heaven...someone to play with. My other littlies are a small breed and are 15 1/2 and 13 1/2 so are too old to play.

Wow, I am so jealous! )t' I lost my very naughty, rescued old Lab 6 weeks ago, and am trying to resist getting another youngster who needs training. I must stay strong as I hope to move soon and need to get the house straight to put it on the market. But the house is so quiet with only 3 oldies who behave themselves.

Dave is such a fab name for a dog, especially a big one. :!: Where`s the photos then to make us all drool? (f+

Well this is himself.
I can assure you Lilo-li, the last thing I intended coming home with, was a puppy. I wasn't going to have any more until my littlies had gone and then it was to be a greyhound. That would be calm and no training required. I am still shell shocked from this.

PS we start redecorating the lounge on Monday....must be mad !

He really is gorgeous Wendy (f+ And Dave does suit him!

Those are such fab ears! )c(

He reminds me of a dog my best friend owned years ago. Sunny was a rescued rottieXGSD with every medical and behavioural problem in the book when she got him. He could be SO naughty, and then you caught a glimpse of his ears and just had to forgive him!
