Meet the new arrivals

Post by manda »

Well I finally updated my photos.... now included the lovely geese who are just gorgeous and feeding out of our hands now....and the lovely Annabelle who is a Captain Cooker pig. She is rather overweight having had a diet of sweets, cream buns, gingerbread and chocolate...why do people do that!!!!? She has difficulty walking and is so fat her forehead is covering her eyes...So she is now embracing a healthy eating lifestyle - not sure how impressed she is with that one- but it's a necessary evil.

PICS HERE

Thank you- pop in if you're passing :-D ..yep we feel we are really living the dream now. This is what we hoped to achieve moving out here and although we've been in the house 3 years now it's taken us this long to get anything other than cows.
Annabelle is grumpy - I think she is missing her sweets and cream buns! I have managed to get her to have fruit and veg (lovely local greengrocer who I can some leaves and throw away stuff from for free!!). I think she has been thoroughly spoilt and I'm not sure there is a sweet temper in there but we'll give it time and see.
In the meantime we thought we would further expand our pig population...well we were on a roll!! So we have got ourselves two 11 week old black devon boys who are very lovely and who like having their tummy scratched...Sunshine and Midnight will get on a put some piccies on as soon as poss.
