Awww, bless!!!!

How cute is that. I know there were problems a few years ago with housing estates going up over territory which was inhabited by Koala Bears, which was forcing them to move onto to pastures (and eucalypta trees) new.

The pic was taken by their local paper because they wanted to highlight the importance to give them water, its such a shame for all the animals when everything is so dry!

In some ways we brits are very lucky!

We have a garden full of 40 foot eucalyptus trees but no koalas. Our boss's son and family live in victoria and are ready to evacuate if the fires get any nearer, must be terrifying

Ahh, lovely pic, Stace.

I dread to think how many animals were taken as well as the people. +cry+ The news is horrific.

Makes me moaning about a few inches of of snow a bit lame

Yep and to think some were started on Purpose!

Makes me so angry! They have a hard time of it as it is ! The people who start these fires should be caught and taken to look at the devestation they have caused, then slung in a cell and the key thrown away!

Awful watching the news last night and hearing people's stories or how lucky they are to be alive.

I found it very hard to read the paper this morning, it is unimaginable what people have been through, and the things they have seen that will haunt them for the rest of their lives. And they are the lucky ones - they got out.

HOW CAN anyone do this, there is no word to describe someone who could deliberately cause so much suffering to so many people.
