hi Emma,
I think a lot of one to one would help but depends on available time
to spare.how long are you looking after the poor dog for?

Awww, she's so sweet! Presumably as she is blind she's got no idea of what is around her - must be used to the layout of her own home and totally disorientated at yours.
How is she with you? Will she sit on your lap?
I'd be tempted to give her touching contact all of the time, but that's not exactly practical.
How about giving her a large box to sleep/sit in (plus her curtains) - might make her feel more secure if she is aware of her own small space. And newspapers in one place outside of the box for her toilet? Does she "go" outside at home? If so I expect that she is distressed to be doing it inside now.
Poor little doggie.

She let me pick her up last night. She still won't come out the kitchen and is peeing everywhere. I know she can't see but I put down some paper like my friends told me to but she just goes anywhere and everywhere. My whole kitchen stinks of wee.
id be inclined to talk to her and stroke her lots! have you got a jumper you could put next to her that smells of you? one from the wash basket maybe? is the kitchen a quiet place? what kind of noises is she used to?
Yes, she has cateracts. I've been stroking her but she just shivers and cowers away from me. I can pick her up but she has wet herself. She's so old bless her and so sweet. I let her out in the garden for a while earlier. She just weed continuously.
