Anaesthetic - must admit I'm nervous
Re: Anaesthetic - must admit I'm nervousReally mad chick, it's them keeping their hands off me - and I may not be awake to know anything about it
Your Mum is obviously one of those tough ones - good for her. Interesting babycakes, still obviously blocked something up - poor chap, a very long haul. New Member? Get more from the Forum and join in 'Members Chat' - you're very welcome
Re: Anaesthetic - must admit I'm nervousGood luck with it all Richard, you sound like you are the bionic man. You need both arms to play guitar! I havent had any ops or anesthetics so cant comment on that, but I'm sure you will be right as rain in no time.
Looove chucks!
Re: Anaesthetic - must admit I'm nervousRichard, just keep talking to the nusre and doctors. They might be able to arrange for the anaenatist to come down early to have a longer talk about your history.
I'll be thinking of you, Barbara x I have chickens Blaze, Star and Comet, who have met Sunny Clucker in Cheshire :-)
I'm training to be a midwife!!!!!

Their eyes aren’t painted on you know... best of luck for tom, it’s a piece of cake having an operation and there’s always the sympathy you can demand afterwards; a bit like with man flu only with stitches and bandages. Bah Humbug
Re: Anaesthetic - must admit I'm nervousHave a nice relaxing evening tonight and when you go for anaesthetic think nice pleasant thoughts.

Helping to give ex-battery hens a fresh start! http://thevintagebelles.blogspot.co.uk/ Re: Anaesthetic - must admit I'm nervousI'm slightly jealous - the prospect of really truly not being able to do anything for a couple of hours without feeling guilty, sounds like bliss
Hope it goes well, Richard " -zere isn't much to do 'ere, unless you like cooking and chickens!"
Re: Anaesthetic - must admit I'm nervousGOOD LUCK FOR TOMORROW RICHARD jo x mum of 5,nanny to 2,2 cats,1 jack russell,6 chickens and a hubby.
Re: Anaesthetic - must admit I'm nervousThanks everyone, just eaten my last !
SS - I shall be posting in 'Ask Dave' about after care !! The bad news today was on here I guess, but the good news was I went to Cricket today to prepare for a twenty/20 match on Monday. Last Saturday I was told there would probably be no training today - 27 players turned up and my 12.30 finish went to 5.30 ! But all the prep and passing info to the lovely lady who's helping do all the Admin side for me on Monday took my mind off things. I'm not working Monday, but taking Leo with me for three games at the end of next week. I told him I'd give him half my pay - don't think he believed I'm on £12.80 a day though ! New Member? Re: Anaesthetic - must admit I'm nervousIf anyone know Dave will. never bad news on DTL even if some folk try to make it so. £12.80 seems like a perfectly reasonabale wage to me as well.

Re: Anaesthetic - must admit I'm nervousOnce again, thanks for your good wishes. It's a nice hospital (Private but paid by NHS) and I'll get a sea view at least.
I'm off to bed now as I have to rise at 5.30, feed chickens etc. and get there for 7am. Hopefully home in evening, so if up to it will post. If not, Sunday latest. Bye for now, Richard New Member? Get more from the Forum and join in 'Members Chat' - you're very welcome
