as long as you can afford it, it maybe worth a try. But if you cannot afford for it to fail. You know the tried and tested creams for hands.
I did hear a long time ago. The best thing for soft hands is to smother in vasilene of a night time and put on cotton gloves and sleep in them. During the night the skin absorbs the vasilene.

Back to the 'dog oil', yes it's real, we used to stock it in a health food shop I worked in.

Will be checking my local farm suppier for the udder cream. That heal balm stuff you can buy also contains urea.

Even I felt too stupid to ask the most obvious question here so I followed the link and am quite relieved to find that there are no animals used in the manufacturing process!!!

Well, the hand problem isn't getting any better inspite of all my efforts, so I'm trying the cows udder cream. It does feel nice and soft and not that greasy, so perhaps it'll work after all! (f+

My hands are still on the dry side, but they're not sore anymore!!!!!!!! As long as I continue to use it and wear the rubber gloves for washing up I'll be fine!!!

Are you using the 'normal' udder cream? There are now lots of varients of it - the Chamois cream is thicker, and better for badly cracked skin. Its also good for nappy rash.
