hurtie forearm /wrist

Post by Dave »

i have swollen tendons
in my forearm
it must be bad as the doc signed me off for
TWO weeks
and i have to give it complete rest :-D
he did say COMPLEAT rest
i do hope my wife understands(some hope)
it really hurts you know
the doc even gave me some brown tablets
and they are 50mg each(donkey chokers)
and i have to have them after food (3 times a day)
i am not one to make a fuss about things
I'll just solder on

Oh no sunshine ! how ever are you going to manage !. I hope that wife of yours gets herself into gear and MAKES you rest the whole of the two weeks.
I also have tendonitis in my elbow.....nothing like yours at all.... I was given something to rub in and told to pull myself together !

What have you been doing with your arm and wrist so much to make the tendons swell confused> )j;

I'm sure your wife will be at your total disposal for the next two weeks

This Is Kerry(the wife). Oh My God. He is such a woos.
I have a whole list of jobs for him. I am not being funny, but all he has to do is drive the lorry which has power steering, and it is not like it is that hard. He needs plenty of excercise, like cleaning windows, washing the caravan etc. Kill or cure that is my moto.
Rest my A***.

Poor poor Dave, and even more poor Kel for having to cope with him :-D

I damaged a tendon in my elbow (tennis elbow) on Christmas Day tipping a saucepan of spuds over to drain. Thats nearly 6 months ago and I am still in pain. I've just had a course of 6 sessions at the physio and she has recommended a Cortisone injection as the inflamation is still so bad.

You MUST rest it now, and preferably get your GP to book you some physio, if I had gone at the start they could probably have sorted it out there and then.

Yes Kate, and to compliment the physio, lots of beer, extra chips, hourly massage, and personal maid service.

That may have been a )j; but typing aggravates my arm badly and last week when I was on holiday it was much better (no typing) so you will have to dictate and let Kel type for you Dave :-D :-D :-D
