If you can't be a good example........ you will just have to be a horrible warning must lose weightHi TassieDev
It wasn't easy - making sure I ate all the meals ie breakfast, lunch and dinner plus loads of extras, 3-4 chocolate bars a day, biscuits and sometimes even supper?? I just ate everything and honestly it does work. ps I think you may be a lot younger than me? For me its a dicipline thing.......I know what I should and shouldn't have, but this way - if I'm being so over the top to do this, then I seem to have more will power not to drink (beer/wine), snack or make nice creamy sauces etc etc.
I've lost 10.5kg (just over 22lb)in not much time at all - not wise I know, but like I said - it seems to give me more mental strength. Calorie counting sends me a little nuts, as I become so obsessive with calories, I end up under a healthy limit. I know that people don't agree with this type of dieting however unless you've been battling with weight and all of the issues that go along with it for most of your life - it would be hard to comprehend what I'm on about. cheers Jodi Hi Jodi.
I lost 28lb in four months, which isn't too long. What is not good is to take it off, put it on, take it off etc. etc. Counting calories would drive me nuts also. If I buy yogurts etc. I try to keep below 0.5%g of fat, cook with very little or no oil at all. If I do I only use olive oil. Never have spread on my bread, so there isn't any butter, low fat spread or marg in the house. Now I am down there at a weight I am reasonably happy with [I would like to be 8 stone but hey ho] it works for me. Wendy http://www.busheyk9.co.uk

Yes I'm sure it does work for a lot of people - I mean obviously a lot of people have the opposite problem (like my OH), hence this thread! I seem to just have some physical reason why I can't put on weight. When I had the most trouble putting on weight I could not get over 48kg no matter what I ate and I am about 5 foot 7 I think and I am not small framed at all. I was around 30 at the time. I needed to weigh a lot more than that, and it's quite scary to think you're underweight, losing weight, and have no control over it. I've always had a good appetite and I was eating as much as possible but literally didn't put on a gram. I seem to be a bit better these days, a few kilos heavier and not having to eat a ridiculous amount to maintain that. So that's great! Re: must lose weightHow's it going, Dave, any updates yet, is there a new you lurking about?

Re: must lose weightYou certainly have had a number of very hectic months haven't you ?
