Dont do building work in trainers

Post by AL37 »

Been to two hospitals today the first one put a sticky plaster on and said if it swells see your gp. :shock: {mr.angry}
The second one x-rayed my foot , it turns out the nail scraped the bone the doctor said he would have liked to keep me in and give me intravenous antibiotics. But he ended up sending me home with two boxes of tablets.
The silly thing is I have a pair of nail proof work boots but they need new laces, no one to blame but my self {mr.angry}

I trust Mrs Al is ministering to your every need, and doing the whole nursey-nursey thing. Us women can be so caring and understanding at these times {rofwl}

Stace,
Other than tending to the chooks on my crutches I will be doing little else. so I may as well spend some time at home on the laptop after a while I will probably get bored and have to find something mischievous to occupy my mind )t' {rofwl}

Looks painful Al, are you sure it was your carelessness?? A certain person has been quiet today, you don't think he's roaming the country exacting his revenge do you yike*
Take it easy.

Jen,
I wasn't going to say because it makes me cringe just thinking about it.
I mentioned in my broody hen post about the shed I had been given, well I decided to build a new shed right next to it. I was on the roof of the first shed prepairing to fix some mesh to stop foxes climbing over.
I jumped off that shed (about five feet highat the back) straight onto that darn nail yike* :oops:

Al, hope you are OK, mate?

Are you sure you weren't thinking of leaving these parts for somewhere colder (going into hiding, are you???), looks like you were trying to make a couple of cheap skis. sile}

Seriously, Al, take it easy, and for goodness sake keep taking the tablets. )t'

Just thinking about the pain makes me want to stick my head between my legs :shock:
