Dont do building work in trainersRe: Dont do building work in trainersJen,
This is getting a bit more graffic than I intended I undid the laces and pulled the shoe off and the nail out as the shoe came off. I then had to hobble about and put all of my tools away and drive home my sock was soaked with blood. Its about half a mile to drive but pushing the clutch down was intersting Relax, I could have been a twin.
Re: Dont do building work in trainersGreta,
Not even I would nail ski's to my feet. Relax, I could have been a twin.

If you can't be a good example........ you will just have to be a horrible warning Re: Dont do building work in trainersI tell you something Jen,
I wouldn't like to choose between a nail in the foot or a neadle through the finger nail I would say they are probably about equal Relax, I could have been a twin.
Re: Dont do building work in trainersI'm feeling left out now. I trod on a drawing pin once. Does that count?? Or how about the time I suffered from van ariel disease?

Re: Dont do building work in trainersThanks Wendy,
Do you remember how long yours took to heal? I realy dont have time to be injured Dom Drawing pins hurt its just the amount of swearing that differentiates between them and nails in your foot Relax, I could have been a twin.

To be honest Kate I am kind of half expecting it. The way the A&E doctor spoke about keeping me in for iv antibiotics and the dose of 2000mg of flucloxacillin per day I think the doctor expects it to aswell I know there is not a good time but this realy could not have come at a worse time for me. The hen that just hatched the eggs needs a run building on her new coop. I have six hens that I want to introduce into my main flock. I have two more sheds to build with runs. And the chicks that hatched almost six weeks ago need to be moved into one of the as yet unbuilt sheds and runs. I had intended to get this all done by 10th October. I realy am very annoyed with myself! Relax, I could have been a twin.
Re: Dont do building work in trainersThanks Al and Jen for the gory details Lovely!
Al, prehaps he that surveys all will pardon you on medical grounds? Maybe you should have asked the a+e doctor to write you a note..... Happy to have shown Titchy Clucker a little corner of France
