just to be serious for a minute

although i do feel a bit better
i now have a pain
at the top of my belly
but not chest height
the pain builds slowly then creeps sideways(both ways at the same time)
around to where my kidneys are

then it goes for a while
it seems worse when i am breathing out
could this be the beginning of a touch of phenomena?

or do we all think i may have pulled something during a bout of coughing
its been like it for a couple of days
only this afternoon it seems to have got worse

i told you i wasnt well

Dave, I hate to say this as I can't help feeling you're going to tell me the reason for your pain is that the dog is lying on your tummy or something.....BUT, if you are serious, you sound as if you are worried. I would ring your GP and tell her/him all that has happened and any symptoms you have at the time. If it gets worse or you get REALLY worried, ring your out of hours service - you will be able to speak to someone, although they are often not as on the ball as your own GP would be.

Hope you feel better soon. xxxx {hug}

"The hallmark symptom of pleurisy is sudden, intense chest pain that is usually located over the area of inflammation. Although the pain can be constant, it is usually most severe when the lungs move during breathing, coughing, sneezing, or even talking. The pain is usually described as shooting or stabbing, but in minor cases it resembles a mild cramp. When pleurisy occurs in certain locations, such as near the diaphragm, the pain may be felt in other areas such as the neck, shoulder, or abdomen (referred pain). Another indication of pleurisy is that holding one's breath or exerting pressure against the chest causes pain relief."

just copied this

I would also categorically say those symptoms can be a heart attack too.

Get to the quack or a&e if it persists. :?

Yep take care. Just spent the afternoon with mum in hospital on all kinds of drips and oxygen - a flu turned into lung infection.

P.S although no-one bit, I recognised Spike Milligans inscription on his tombstone
see i told you i was ill
I expect others did too.

Re: Help me

i went to the doc
slight tenderness
around the kidneys/liver and diaphragm
"wee into this pot "she said

"i was a good boy and had one before i left "
i replied
so
i have just returned from the second trip to the doc
today

nothing showed in the wee test
so she told me to
"keep an eye on it for another 24-48 hours"
i did ask
" do i need to put it in the fridge and how often do have to check it  "

so in short (as i don't like to go on about things)
i have to take it easy
and go back in a couple of days if it gets no better
and she will give me some antibiotics
as it might be a slight bowl infection

good job they know what they are doing
