Ugh. Sinusitis is my usual winter ailment. You have my sympathies.

So, during the night, I got some major cramp. I came downstairs to walk it off.
Then, whilst rubbing my leg - I sorta lost balance and landed on my left eye.
Cut in 3 places and swollen...

Oh no Steve, you poor lamb {cry}

Do you think you can get to see your GP today? Like MM said, maybe it's gone to your ears as well and you lost your balance.

Hope the eye is not too sore, but hopefully your painkillers will help with that {hug}

That looks sore - have you bathed it? If you've no antiseptic, salt and water will be okay. Arnica gel will help with the bruising to bring it out and help with the pain.

The face is extremely vascular, so will bleed a lot.

Poor you Steve, you're in a bad way {cry} {hug&kiss} have you seen your GP?

Not seen GP no, I'm on daily aspirin, hence the vascular look and it was early..my excuse and I'm sticking to it. :oops:
On a brighter note my lurgey seems to be subsiding .... or the eye is taking my mind off it.
When son finally gets out his pit I'll get him to take a close look at it. )t'

Ah right, then asprin will make it bleed even more.

Get son to bathe it for you if you can't do yourself. Can you open it at all?

Glad the lurgy seems to be getting better {hug&kiss}

If I stretch my face, easier when you get older, it opens.
