The bit you may like to watch is only about the first 8 minutes. This is all about an 83 year old chap who has just come back from the World Seniors Ping Pong Competition, but the battles he has had with health and come out the other side, amazing....

Wow, what a lovely man. He's definitely been through the wars (health wise) and wonderful that he has the love and support of his lady friend. {hug}

Great to see the 99 year old lady (now 100!!) playing ping pong at the championships. Puts me to shame - 54 and I am soooo unfit now. I whinge about my spine injury I had over 35 years ago that has left me arthritic, but really what have I got to whinge about.

I would say a LOT of inspiration watching that segment, Richard )t'

It just goes to show that age is no barrier to doing most things if the desire and determination are there. All of those playing are determined to make the most of their lives and are doing so brilliantly. They obviously don't have an old mentality and should be an inspiration to others.

Great - I just love people like that! THEY should be the celebrities, not the people who are just famous for being in a band or a show once upon a time.
