cancelled appointment

Post by albertajune »

6 weeks ago I had a MRI scan on my spine and had an appointment today to get the results to see if an epidural would help the pain. I had to arrange a lift to the hospital and another one to get home, great! The disappointing thing was that when I arrived at the appointment desk I was then told that my appointment had been cancelled as the consultant wouldn't be in.
I know these things can't be helped, but surely someone could have picked up the phone and let her patients know before they turned up. What doesn't help is that I now have to wait another month for another appointment.

I am now a widow and live with my memories.

Oh, what a pain. As you say, you would have thought they would have rung you.
