I shall post on behalf of my husband who has a bad back.

(I'm a nurse, so bacteria/viruses are naturally scared of me and run away at the earliest possible opportunity - could be due to the fact that I spend most of my time covered in either alcohol gel or Jeyes Fluid )t' )

I work with kids and it's a case of hightened immunity.

Kids are little germ factories so if you survive the first 6 months you're ok.

The worst is the green nose slug. :shock:

Sorry, shouldn't say "kids" replace that with "young people"
Free hens are happy hens. Chicken centreparcs now complete! The girls love it.

oh Julia dont i had my nephew over when he was small like 4 years , and he sneezed, he had a terrible cold, me mum and dad got him here for a holiday with them, well boggie, boggie man eat your heart out , this by the time came out was so long me dad thought it was the poor boys brains, although that night he did sleep very well, bless him, we got it on video camera too to show hes parents, and it was a long story as it was me dada 50th birthday and he walked in said hello to the dog(r.i.p.) and the dog jumped and kicked me dad in the danglies, what a holiday hahaha

jackie i got mortons nuroma in me foot , dont hardly sleep coz pain, but hope to tonight, new doctor gave me stronger pain killers and sleepers ( im going to sleep till the morning, ding dong my brain and me is going to sleep,i wake up happily , feed the family gleefully, just let me sleep for all of a week!)

Stace i got everythiingh ready even me pocket torch, and me 2 liters of water,gonna put on electic blanket to warm the bed before i get there, so foot dont get cold, and im gonna dake me meds and listen to meditation music and hopefully that will be me till the morning :!: :!: :!: WATCH THIS SPACE

Ooh nasty :shock:

I've just googled it and it doesn't look pleasant at all!! You have my deepest sympathies and best wishes for a quick and full recovery.

I think we can cope with most things with enough sleep but I find it hard to cope with ANYTHING if I haven't slept. I really hope the new meds work. The pain must be beyond belief.

felt sorry for the new doctor as i told him if it didnt work i will b e at hes surgery before hes out of bed!!!!!!!!!! hes face went white, i will keep all informed, thanks for the support your all BRILLIANT
