Down the Lane

Must be in the fun category; I'm a huge fan of Last of the Summer Wine, I follow one of their FB pages, and have all the DVDs including First of the Summer Wine. Sad I know, I have a mini pair of wellies, but I need suggestions (keep it clean)for something terrifyingly gruesome to put in a matchbox. They do say the original was buried with Compo.

Can you explain - for those who were not regular watchers.

Compo had matchbox which he slid open to show someone, usually a lady in a pub, when they looked, they usually looked terrified and screamed!
No one ever discovered what was in the matchbox and that it went to his grave with him!

Had any ideas yet, Mallard?

I've had an idea, but I'm going to have to poke around the charity shops. He once fed it with bread and salt!
