Busy as a Bee!
Busy as a Bee!My boss had some Honey Bees delivered at work this week. It was very exciting!
So, I have moved on from Silkies and thought I would have a go at drawing Honeybees! http://photos-g.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak ... 9768_n.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Ma Larkin Re: Busy as a Bee!Lovely and I like the honey pots too - reminds me of Winnie the Pooh
Re: Busy as a Bee!Those are lovely! Pity you aren't on my side of the water - I'd have had you round to help me paint Grace's new bedroom
Waiting to welcome Sunny Clucker to Northern Ireland!
Re: Busy as a Bee!You have a lovely individual style, ma. I think it would be lovely to see how you draw all different animals - the energy they have is envigorating. Thank-you for sharing
" -zere isn't much to do 'ere, unless you like cooking and chickens!"
Re: Busy as a Bee!They are sweet. They would look lovely on a childs bedroom wall. I am looking forward to seeing what your next subject is.
Re: Busy as a Bee!Thank you everyone! I have had such a great time drawing them, very theraputic!
I used to draw fruit and vegetables. Carrots, Aubergines, strawberries and pears! My friend used to call the apples I drew 'Happy Apples!' I am now enjoying drawing things with 'eyes'. My Dad wants me to draw Goats. It would be nice to see other people put up their drawings and paintings on here!! Maybe we should have a 'Draw your pet' competition. what do you think? Ma Larkin
Re: Busy as a Bee!I don't think any of us could compete with you, your fantastic drawing looks like it should be a Debbie Mumm fabric.

The trouble with having a really good sleep is, you're not awake to enjoy it! Re: Busy as a Bee!Those bees really buzzzz! I think their bottoms look like honey dippers..so cute! I recently did a small acrylic painting of our four Alpacas..only their heads and necks though, and I did a portrait of my beloved Colonel which hangs in the dining room upstairs.
Looove chucks!
Re: Busy as a Bee!Thank you !
