Busy as a Bee!

Post by ma larkin »

My boss had some Honey Bees delivered at work this week. It was very exciting!

So, I have moved on from Silkies and thought I would have a go at drawing Honeybees!

You have a lovely individual style, ma. I think it would be lovely to see how you draw all different animals - the energy they have is envigorating. Thank-you for sharing :-D

Thank you everyone! I have had such a great time drawing them, very theraputic!
I used to draw fruit and vegetables. Carrots, Aubergines, strawberries and pears! My friend used to call the apples I drew 'Happy Apples!'
I am now enjoying drawing things with 'eyes'. My Dad wants me to draw Goats. :?

It would be nice to see other people put up their drawings and paintings on here!! :-D Maybe we should have a 'Draw your pet' competition. what do you think?

I don't think any of us could compete with you, your fantastic drawing looks like it should be a Debbie Mumm fabric. )t'

Those bees really buzzzz! I think their bottoms look like honey dippers..so cute! I recently did a small acrylic painting of our four Alpacas..only their heads and necks though, and I did a portrait of my beloved Colonel which hangs in the dining room upstairs.
