Hi Ock..... +pirate+

was thinking of you recently when I flicked through the latest "Country Living" magazine as there is a lady who makes animals out of scrap metal and I adored the ram/sheep.

I thought St Ives would be a perfect place for your art - in a little artisan gallery.

Have you made a start on the chickens? I'll put in an order too please >eas2< >eas2< >eas2<

I want one a chicken too Ock! :-D And I agree with Polliesmum your things would really sell!

)ot: Ooh I shall go and have a look at Country Living Magazine. My ex boyfriend used to make and sell steel animal coat hooks. Fish, sheep and cats etc. They were flat not 3 dimentional. Have you done or thought about doing Country Living Fair with your work Polliesmum?

)ot: yes Ma - I have thought about it, but it has become so samey over the last few years and so much is imported people don't want to pay for home made goodies. I have some big weekend sales at Country shows so fingers crossed I will be able to earn something towards my kids weddings! yike* yike* ! Are you selling well at the moment?

)ot: Good luck with the shows Polliesmum! I think it is going to be a good year for handmade things :-D
I am not selling at the moment but I am building up stock of my woodwork as Pa Larkin and I are going to open a shop in September (fingers crossed!) I have slowly but surely been getting used to using my tools again after a two year break!

I know what you mean about Country Living and imported goods. )dwn:
