That sounds such a great idea Jen and one which i am sure will be appreciated by many people.
I was completely wowed when I sent off for something from India on ebay, and this is how it arrived through the post:

Jen you have triggered such a fond memory for me.
My Granny was the most frugal person I have ever met (yes, even beating you MQ)
When she recieved a gift, sealed with sellotape, she would unwrap it very carefully and save all the wrapping paper. Any gifts she sent (one year her 12 Grand-daughters, aged 3 to 16 recieved one pair of knickers from a twelve pack she had bought - they fitted my eight year old sister so Gemma got several Christmas presents that year
) were wrapped in re-cycled paper which had three sides sewn shut to form a bag, turned inside out and the final side sewn across the top.
