Hi Wendy,
Your birth sampler is beautiful.. I am just finishing my 3rd one ( a bit behind as N0.6 Grandchild should be here soon!!!!!! )But whilst doing this one I've had my Miniature schnauzer annoying me so it's got a little grubby in places.. Yours looks so lovely and clean, just wondering if you have ever washed your work before framing, if so how should I go about it ??

I know what you mean about them getting dirty.
I do try to keep them wrapped in a hand towel, when not sewing.
But yes I have washed them sometimes.
Handwash with some mild washing powder. Then I try to keep them as straight as possible while I dry on a radiator on a towel.
I then iron them on a towel, sewing side down.
Show us a picture when it is finished.

Thanks for the advise, I will have to give washing it a go as I can't frame it as it is. I'll do my best to post a pic when I'm done, - getting better at this computer stuff at last.
