When they are done I will try and conquer my fear of photobucket and post some piccies.

Bridesmaids dressesThursday last week I was approached by someone to make four bridesmaids dresses. I am reall chuffed and honoured because the bride , who is now 30, I have known since she was 18 months old. She and her siblings have grown up along side my own children and her brother is my godson.

Re: Bridesmaids dressesI am one of those strange people who finds sewing incredibly relaxing. I know others dont though. I used to make wedding dresses for a living a few years back, so it will be nice to get back into the habit. Especially for someone you love.
I love all the pattern cutting and getting all the materials together and then the whole project really. I will try and keep you posted. The bride has bought her dress and it is really beautiful.
