I guess i come from an arty family really as my mum also paints (A lot of her inspiration comes from her chooks too!), my brother is a keen amateur photographer and my dad designs postage stamps for a living (He's the last chap at the bottom of this article for an art trail local to me that ends today clicky thingy)I love working in detail so sometimes a piece can take ages (Especially as i work full time, often with O/T at weekends
). The three baby robins took an hour each and i framed them in a mount with three windows so they sat in a line. Got the reference from a book for those ones though as the baby robins in my ivy this year wouldn't sit still! Actually i usually use a photo as reference. The Chameleon took me weeks of work but i never actually timed it. The chicken is of my favourite ex-batt, Babs, sadly no longer with us but she had bundles of character, bless her.I'm glad you liked my pics guys.
