Dowsers used in finding WW1 Tunnels (BBC)

Post by Richard »

I was interested to watch the BBC News this morning where they were speaking about the tunnels they've found just north of Ypres.

The chap said they had also used Dowsers as that was how the Royal Engineers found water back then (in fact up to the 1960's). They showed a chap going along the field with a pendulum.

NASA still use Dowsers and it's strange that in this day of technology, how we still go back to 'powers within something'.

The BBC link is HERE (watch the video clip)

What a fantastic find after all this time. No one still alive to tell its whereabouts. I went into the trenches at Vimy ridge and there was an atmosphere still lingering , it was spooky.
Looove chucks!
