My plastic bags, that I use to store things, are all turning to snow. Very messy. So much for biodegradeable, And I heard a radio prog this week that the bits are just as dangerous to the sea creatures who eat them as if they hadn't broken down.

Like this one maggie?

It took eleven charity bags to make it. It's not started to biodegrade yet.

)c( Thank goodness I am not alone! Honestly, I was beginning to think it only happened to me as everyone I tell looks at me like I'm crazy.

I keep my bags under the stairs (mainly) and whenever I clean it out it is like snow - and very staticky too.....drives me mad. Why can't they instantly biodegrade when wet for any given time or something, rather than randomly when stored in a cupboard for re-use. }hairout{

Hello Manda. I was into spinning a few years ago, and even bought myself a spinning wheel. Very interesting craft. I really would love to start it again, and also dyeing the homespun wool.
Any ideas anyone as to the best natural dyes?
