Hobby or necessity?

Have recently completed the total reupholstering and loose
cover for this chair.
I was given it years ago by a friend and I love the shape of it.

That looks lovey Anna, is it as comfy as it looks?

I can just see you sitting there with a lemon curd sandwich, drink of soya or rice milk, couple of hens on your knee and resting your dirty chicken poo wellies on a Delia Smith book.

Anna
i have resized to the next one down
i am getting confused as to what is the correct size
fo pics?
is it pixel size or actual size?
the propeties on the pic you have put on is
768x1024 pixels

my pic is now
120x160 pixels
it was
240x320 pixels
i thought it had to no more than 320 pixels wide
or is it the file size that has to be a curtain size

Very nice Anna.

For Info - 320 wide is the size which is easiest in Photobucket, with optimization as well.

The forum will actually take a picture up to 500 wide before it distorts the appearance etc.

In the preview it was OK have now changed. What was strange last night was that after I asked Dave to resize the screen was OK and today it had grown again.....

Thanks for all your comments, rachell, I haven't got the book anymore its in the charity shop!! Haven't made the lemon curd, and the clogs get stored at the back door - full of the girls poo!

we had a suite recovered and it cost us £800(a few years ago now)
and it was a rubish job
we sued and got our dosh back
you have done a far better job

like Meanqueen said put an add in local paper
or ask around
or do repairs
you could pick the jobs you do and earn a few(lot)pounds
at the same time )c(

Work.....at my age No, No, No.

I have posted that I did an upholstery course in the 90's after I took early retirement. I was signing on for my stamp and I was put onto an over 50's thing to start my own business. I started doing alterations, repairs, curtain making and loose covers.

I stopped this when I became 60 - I would have to pay them even more tax. I felt in my working life they had had enough.

Ilona, I couldn't sell it I like the shape of it too much and it is comfortable when I have the time to sit on the thing!!
