The bees love my chives and was glad to get one drinking nectar. Not sure what camera I used. Either my pocket Olympus or Panasonic Lumix.

I'm into flower photography at the moment as I don't have to be as mobile. Hip still in recovery.
The lilies are in full flower at the moment so thought I'd take one of these. I like the way the rain spots form quite a uniform pattern on this pink lily.

We have a Pentax K-r that I bought Mrs Orfy for x-mas.
I have an old fujifilm with me most times for recording things rather than arty shots.

When I was doing more travelling I had a couple of Konica super zooms and got good results. Sadly they don't take knocks and abuse so both died.

We used to have an old manual Practika SLR and lerant a lot with that.

I've just looked at your gallery and really like the work you have put up. All so different but would find it hard to choose a favourite. Maybe the 3 beers, not because they are beer but like the way they compliment each other, but then I like the lions.
If you don't mind me asking, what software do you use to edit your pics?

Most of them are un edited. Normally at most they are cropped.
Sometimes if I've messed up I'll lighten them a little.

I'm not really into Arty shots.

I mainly use Picasa for cataloguing and very minor adjustment.

)t' Now that's what I call photography. Photosh0p et al just proves you can manipulate an image on a computer; being able to get a good shot without editing, that's the real McCoy.

Each to their own.

I know people who will add or remove components (i.e people, animals, trees etc.) to photo's to make them better.

For me this is digital art rather than photography.
