An improvised mould for spell candles (I don't cast many spells, bat's blood is very difficult to get nowadays )grin2( ) but they're expensive to buy, so....
Light blue for tranquility, they're in the freezer now, then I'll test my home made gadget to make a pointy end!

I agree with Alex and Annie - I am very impressed. I didn't understand what was wrong with the witches hat brim either- looked good to me!

I'm wondering if you could tailor make them depending on what they would be used for, maybe by adding just a chip or two of the corresponding crystal, a pinch of the right herb/root, maybe a drop of the correct oil etc and this could be put right at the bottom of the candle so it doesn't effect the way it burns and then maybe a small ribbon tied around it in the corresponding colour. you could sell them as spell candles or tailor make them for loved ones in need...just an idea I thought i would share )t' :-D

I've been thinking along the herbal route as I've a herb bed on the allotment and intend to expand it this season. I also have a good collection of essential oils which can be added to wax. I need to get more wax dyes, although there was quite a few in the kit! :-D
Green ones for financial gain etc, but at my age I'll steer clear of the red ones! )grin2(

Mallard your candles are lovely. When you say spell candles are these used by pagans or white witches - excuse my ignorance, I am C of E :-D

These have come out pretty well, my pal George is making a frugal heater similar to mine, and gave me some wax "fork handles" )grin2(
