The exciting part.

Post by wendy »

I have nearly finished a little Jacket for Tyler , our Great Grandson and only have the button bands to do.
But ouch, my arthritis is playing up, so I have decided to leave it a few days and sort out another cross stitch to do, for the time being.
I could do the matching one to the one I have finished, but felt that might be a bit boring so have decided to do another one.
I am at the stage of sorting out the threads and stitching the outside to stop fraying.
Here is a bit of the pattern I shall be working from.
Can you guess what it is ?
As I say I find this the really exciting bit.

The first one looks like a cottage of some sort in the front. The second one looks like a pond with 2 geese in front

Clever you Maggie I bet you could do those magic eye pictures as well ! My sister loves cross stitch too Wendy though funnily enough she seems to be the opposite of you, she knits to relax her hands after too much intense cross stitching. She made me a lovely picture for my 50th its a hanging basket full of pansies and ivy and it takes pride of place above the hearth and fireplace. Hope you are free from those painful joints soon.
It will be alright in the end , if its not alright, it isn't the end .
