Eleven people showed up for our first meeting. A really nice bunch of ladies )t'

We were worried that no one would show up, especially when the road leading into the village (on one side) had been closed to work on a local bridge.

Anyway, next meeting in fortnight, will try and remember to take photos that evening )t'

Well, Helen, to be honest a few ladies couldn't make it because there was something else happening last night. So hopefully more will attend next time. )t'

I started a group for dancing/playing/calling as a few people had asked me about learning to call.
I found there is always 'something' that will stop a proportion coming, but with luck there have always been enough (just, sometimes). The first time it was 28, after that it's been between 15 & 18, but there have been 44 different people who have come at least once.

To be honest when I said I hope we get more people, I know we are using our group as a drop in rather than having to be a definite member, so as time goes on there will always be a different mix of folk coming.

Main thing is we had fun and the ladies who attended liked what we had done. :-D

I can just see it. Instead of Sunny Clucker, the 3 word illustrated story cross-stitch.

How often do you meet?
