you weren't listening - I said it was for the tree outside by the front door - this tree is going to look fab with bits of twine dangling from it with nothing left on the ends - better get the green twine maybe that will look more festive >tree<

When you said that, I thought you were going to bring it indoors {rofwl}

I did wonder how you were going to manage with the bigger one {rofwl} {rofwl} {rofwl}

Why don't you thread peanut on strings and decorate it with bluetits instead.

Perchy please don't apologise for our Helen, she made me laugh and that is an invaluable gift, she is a dotty blonde though {hug}

Mo, I think I will probably go along this route, although I have tried using bird feeders on this tree and they never gey used much, I think maybe its just too close to the path so has people walking by a lot.

I don't know if you could hang them outside Annie if you varnished them with a polyurethane varnish it might work. We just used acrylic paint on them and I'm going to use polyurethane varnish (but they will be inside though).
Josh is good by the way off to school today so he was happy (he loves school)...getting more and more excited about Christmas although he doesn't get the snow thing as it's getting hotter and hotter here....maybe one year we'll get over and he can see Christmas with the dark and cold and maybe even snow.....

Helen why don't you make a tag for the knitted tree decs...knit a little square with the date on and then attact it to the dec or on the bit it hangs from.

Finished off a couple of the decorations today and made some Christmas cards....and I rediscovered paper snowflakes!!! )c( )c( ...and then thought I'd make life more complicated by trying to do them in tin foil (do you know it takes on a mind of it's own and tries to tear itself apart when you unfolding it!!)

and the finished decorations.....

We've had another lovely day and Josh could do his thing with the decorating...I love Christmas )grin2(
