That is so pretty Helen. I think that something hand made is something really special, as so much love has been put into it. I'm sure it will be treasured.
I am now a widow and live with my memories.

Thats really pretty, gosh wish I could make something like that crochet, I can just about do granny squares. Homemade means so much more to me nowadays,

There are some really good tutorials on u and tube and you can pause as many times as you like )t' just search crochet tutorials, they have beginners too :oops:

Honestly, that is about my level too. I am really not that good, but this just came out rather well! :-D

HERE is where I got the inspiration (scroll down from the snow pics!) and I have made loads of her stuff. I have to say that I seem to love making completely useless things +f+

Thanks Helen, just scrolled down past snow scenes and found it. got some bits of wool left so might just have a practise weekend.

At the bottom left of the page, there are links to loads of things. The teeny tiny flowers are easy, as are several of the items.

I have made several of her things including the small hearts and the may roses - the roses were particularly satisfying and can be used as brooches. These big hearts are very fiddly at the beginning and end, and it took me quite a while, but I am extremely pleased with it (can you tell!! {rofwl} )
