New Gloves!

Post by p.penn »

Loooooooook! I have crocheted some fingerless gloves!! I am ever so pleased with them and wore them for the first time today. I may put a little edging around the thumbhole (or may not {rofwl} ), but I have to say I think I may be getting the hang of this hooky lark!!

If they stretch too much when I wear them, they might well be!

)c( I have some knitted ones like that, and I wear them all the time. Yours are prettier though.

They look good, I have done knitted ones, just finishing off a bit of knitting and then going to have a go at crochet.

I agree with Ellie , you seem to have got the colours in the right order , if you know what I mean ?

Aren't fingerless gloves usually called sleeves >dum<

Funny you should say about the colours Annie - I had all my wool lined up along the piano to decide the order (also to make sure I did both gloves the same {rofwl} )

Then I had to decide which end to put the thumbhole in - that was tricky as my fave colours are the blues/purple/greens. I was going to put one either end, then decided against that in case it gaped. Actually I am pleased I did as I think the shape would have gone wonky after wearing both ends a lot.

Sleeves? >dowhat< My attention span wouldn't last to add any more on {rofwl}

I notice it is the men who are taking the micky. The ladies appreciate how much effort has gone into you glove, maybe leg warmers (if they stretch).
They are really bright and pretty for a winters day. Well done )t'
