Hens teeth, the entire family are coming around sunday afternoon for my mums 80th, she wanted to avoid a fuss so am taking her away on the actual day so will anyone miss me if I disappear upstairs for 2 hours

I'm soooo glad there's other F1 fans on here, was a bit worried nobody but me would care!

While I fully expect a tight season with probably a Red Bull overall winner, my fingers are mainly crossed for Nico Rosberg to finally get a decent car, luck and find his form. Most of all I want him to beat his new team mate Hamilton (I don't dislike Hamilton, but tax shirkers badly annoy me and I hate to see them claiming to be Britsh while not paying tax here). Jenson's car isn't making him happy yet, so I'm already thinking of him as an also-ran until at least mid-season.

As for MotoGP - Lorenzo v Pedrosa this year will be tight.

Interesting grid, missed practice and will miss the race but def looking forward to seeing it on replay, just for the start
