I like International Football, but....

Post by Richard »

I do miss watching the TV from about 4.30pm onwards on a Saturday afternoon to get all the up-dates, possible league standings etc.

If your Team are playing it's that 'There's a Goal at St.Mary's, what's going on Fred' and the nerves start going, you want to hear it but don't all at the same time!

I shall miss that today.

Me too Buddy, I am at a bit of a loose end this afternoon although I am keeping an eye out for Bournemouth and Pompey (both winning as we speak). The international was a bit rubbish to be honest, you must ask why are two teams so far apart in standard allowed to play each other… I am of course talking about Wales and Scotland {rofwl} )run(

Hope you've got your running Trainers on spoony !!

I made a big effort to get everything done for the football match last night and found it all a waste of time.
I know a goal is a goal, butgot no buzz at all from all 8 of them. Maybe a bit for the Young goal, that was a goodie.

Ended up bored to be honest and dozed off!

Not as bored as I was during the second half last night... where's Ricky Lambert's call up or Adam Lallana's? there are a couple of regulars inthe england squad that I feel are not pulling their weight and when you consider the total thrashing Lambert and Co. gave the liverpool squad you must wonder why some of the star Saints players aren't being given a chance.
