Seriously did not see that coming! People have been talking about Kimi and FA being team mates for months, but I just didn't imagine it would happen. Oh well, I'm stuck back supporting Ferrari again now ..... )de:

Have to admit to losing interest a bit this year, now the points are pretty much won and SV might as well be crowned champion. Oddly in MotoGP the championship is less open yet it's held my interest as if it's tight at the top. Maybe F1 needs something new to get me interested again, or maybe the TV coverage is too samey each race - I don't know.

You didn't miss much. Although one strange thing did happen that I've never seen before - somebody span out and the marshals were on the track in their Jeep Cherokee faster than the safety car was, so led the F1 cars half a lap while it got sorted.

For a moment a Jeep Grand led a GP .... then Vettel grabbed first yet again {rofwl}

Quite a few years back I was in Italy with my second wife (Italian). I went to a Cafe to watch the San Marino I think it was.

The people in there soon realised I was English and were praising Nigel Mansell.

One said to me....

"The English are very boring but drive with their brain. The Italians are very exciting but drive with their p***s" yike*

Anyway, Vettel's getting boring now :-D

So glad I got up, really good race, Grosjean passing people without knocking them off seems he isn't aspiring to be Rene Arnoux after all. I dont agree Vettell is boring he is just very good. I loved the Mr and Mr bit with Lewis and Nico )t'

Hi Sandy )t'

Know it's unrelated, but it made me smile at 5.30am this morning ...... Yamaha spent millions on aero work for their MOTOGP bikes, then Jorge Lorenzo ran into a seagull on Phillip Island, Aus this morning and did his fastest lap with it's feathery little corpse flapping about on the fairing. {rofwl}

OMG yike* poor old seagull, must have been very off putting though

Jorge had no idea it was there, until he pitted.
There were a few 'Gullwing' jokes on the TV coverage, as frankly what's done is done and it's human nature to make jokes. After all, there isn't a driver who hasn't hit some sort of wildlife on the road. But there were complaints to the BBC ....... pathetic. }hairout{

Finally caught up with Abu Dhabi(do hate highlights) 30 seconds lead, makes my last post look a bit silly! Loved the chats after,come on Lewis, cheer up! Cannot believe this late in the season Paul dosent know if he will have a drive next year.

Agree that Paul Di Resta's lack of work for next year is a mystery, but with finance being as it is if he can't provide money who will employ him? Talent isn't enough in the big money world of F1 sadly.

Not shocked at Kimi walking away from Lotus for the rest of the year. They haven't paid him during 2013. Early back surgery is just an excuse, that could be done after the season ends just as effectively, but at least he's provided Lotus with an excuse rather than say out in the open that they're folding and have failed.

MOTOGP finished yesterday, so with the F1 wrapped up I now feel like winter is here and sundays are just hard work and mud until cars are back on tracks next year. Wish I could get interested in some winter sports }hairout{
