Glad you are sorted Wendy. An old aunt of mine advised me to put a piece of white paper or card under the machine needle when trying to thread it. It highlights the hole in the needle.

You can use the threaders for hand needles on a sewing machine needle.

I bought some machine needle threaders, they have a slightly longer loop which makes the job easier. They are very cheap and easy to find online - I could pop one in the post as I bought a pack of ten!

No it isn't a self threading.

At the moment, I can thread needles, without glasses. Which even I am amazed at.
It was just a pain keep having to do it, every 3 minutes or so )grin2(
