Don't forget, Saturday afternoon is...

Football afternoon… I know that the Championship and leagues have been going for a couple of weeks but today is the start of the English Premiership… my three predictions for today are:
West Ham to draw with Cardiff , West Brom to lose to the mighty Saints (Rickie Lambert Hat-Trick) and Liverpool to thump Stoke in the early kick off although the whole Luis Suarez thing might upset them and Stoke are a dirty side, very much physical rather than skillful. I think that Man U might struggle away at newly promoted Swansea and Norwich might struggle to keep Everton at bay (although Everton lost their manager to Man U during the closed season.

Interesting season, the three top Clubs all with new Manager's, wouldn't like to be Moyes, slightly hard act to follow!!

All makes up to a good more open season I think. Get a hunch that Chelsea will be top before too long though.

Nice win, well deserved. I don't know If Penn knows how Arsenal got on :-D

the new signings look like good value for money and of course... Rickie Lambert Goal Machine... two goals in a week, one to see )bg( off and one for the Baggies. Nice.

we shall have to see how Spurs get on at Palace and how Chelsea fare later. still an away win for the first game of the season is a great start. the first time we have one the opening fixture in years. Happy days indeed. :-D

Hey spoony, what a signing in Pablo Daniel Osvaldo, bit of a smoothy isn't he !!

Another record fee for Saints!

Apparently he's an avid Rolling Stones fan and owns a life size statue of Mick Jagger in his Rome Apartment !!

As Hull City are one of the new boys in this seasons EPL our goal is to simply stay up, although we got thumped 2 - 0 against a very good Chelsea side I think we have more then reasonable chance of maintaining our Premier status next season. Either way I,m strapped in and going to enjoy the roller coaster of a ride this season )t' . Good luck to all of your teams this season.

Hi Bob,

Wishing the Team well for the season. Bit like Saints last year who had big sides to play early on.

It wasn't a thrashing Mate, potential there OK.

Two international goal scoring strikers up front for the saints... even if one was screwing the lids on beetroot jars a few years back. )t'
