From Crochet to Collectables and other Interests
Well, I am very pleased to have finished my second crochet blanket!!!
This one has only taken me two months, compared to the eight months the first one took Mind you, it has been worked on every day, often for hours on end!
There are 120 x 5 row squares - my first one had 168x 4 row squares, but they seem approx the same size. I have been making them big enough to cover the top of a double bed, so they will be quite versatile. My only concern is that when I took this second photo, a large brown and white sort of fluffy blemish seems to have appeared
Oh that is beautiful, how clever you are! I love the blemish too, such a pretty one - how fortunate
No girls at the moment but look forward to getting more in the future. Proud mummy to Hector, a Bedlington Terrier x Jack Russell
Honestly, you wouldn't credit it - whenever I try to take a pic of her she gets up or turns away......but whenever I am trying to photograph something else (particularly crochet!) she photo bombs it
We somehow get Josie in all of ours
If you can't be a good example........
you will just have to be a horrible warning
It was so worth the effort Helen. Beautiful!! The blemish is beautiful too and sets it off a treat.
I am now a widow and live with Beau my little rescue dog, Mistie cat and Rosie my last chicken.
Ahhhhh - thanks everyone I am really pleased with it although think I like my first one better.
Mrs Boodles -I can honestly say it is worth learning. I did find it tricky at first,a dnthen all of a sudden it was like a light bulb going on in my head!!
