Ock, and anyone else
I've put a coat of etch primer (acid 8 ) on my car as some places got sanded back to bare metal.
I will be putting a couple of coats of hight build primer on next and I'll be sanding between the coats.
Question 1 :- what high build primer do I use celliulose or 2 pack and any remonendations of any particular brand.

Question 2) :- what type of top coat do I use, I'm spraying the car in my garage

Question 3) :- any idea of how much paint I'll need

The car is my 1967 triumph 2000 saloon, and this is the colour scheme I'm thinking about

Been busy on other things, but work has progressed.
Primer is on,just got to sand it smooth and then the colour can go on.
Now going with cream with black roof and wheels.

It's looking very good Dave. My OH is into doing up old cars too, like you he used to spray them too but I think at some point he lost interest and sold all his paint equipment. However he does still restore old cars and here is one that we recently bought which as you can see is in need of a new coat of paint as well as tons of other stuff. All I can say is 'boys and their toys' +f+
