I have made a couple of pram covers in the granny squares, but I think I am going to start a new double one, I am making a blanket at the moment using all the bright colours, not granny squares just continuous, I have called it my "I can sing a Rainbow" blanket )grin2(

I like making the squares its crocheting them all together }hairout{

I see mine together which is fairly ok, but it's weaving in the ends that drives me mad, even though I do try to deal with them whilst crocheting.

There is a 'join as you go' method, but I don't like the end result that much

I usually join squares with a double crochet with the wrong sides together and go through the back loop from each stitch, it gives a really neat finish and is much nicer than trying to sew them together, and I agree with Helen that the JAYG seems to give a less firm finish....

Looking forward to seeing more of your work :-D

Yes Kate that is what I did, it is very neat, but did seem to take an age, but bearing in mind it is my first blanket, inspired by Helen of course, I think it went well )t'
