Isn't this tea dribble stopper good (I think that is their official name)

Oh if only I used a tea pot you could make me one

I suppose as the use of teapots is in decline you could slightly adapt the idea and make a Bacardi dribble stopper.

I do use a teapot. My dribbly brown pot sprang a leak (all by itself - at least, I don't remember dropping it - though the maid is a bit heavy handed when he washed up) and the one we inherited from OH's great grandma doesn't dribble. The worst one is the small stainless steel one and that doesn't have a spout, just a lip. You'd think they'd know how to make efficient teapots after all these years.

Just fetched myself a second pinta. You should see my technique. With a slanted tea-strainer almost over hanging the edge of a wide mug I can catch the drips off the bottom of the pot in the other side of the same mug.

I never knew the Dribblesome Teapots was by Norman Hunter. I wonder if they are illustrated by Heath Robinson like the Prof Brainstorm books.

We did a lot of research before we found a non-dribble tea pot - it is a D3nby one - imperial blue range and never dribbles at all, which is just as well as I could never train the men of this house to catch the drips We never make tea in a mug unless we are away from home and have no option.

The absolute worst ones are the stainless steel pots and milk jugs you get in cafes etc. they are absolutely the messiest things.

I keep saying that we must use the teapot but don't think I'll bother now. I had forgotten how messy they can be.
